 Holly Wilmeth / Aurora Photos, 14 December 2005- Guatemala City, Guatemala- On Saturday the 17th of December, Guatemala will be the host of Guiseppe VerdiÕs opera AIDA. This is the largest open air opera that Central America has ever hosted, and benefits will go to educating Guatemalas children (US AID, FUNDACION RAMIRO CASTILLO LOVE). The opera is presented by the famous Italian maestro Stefano Poda, who has artistically directed several operaÕs in Guatemala. Over six hundred Guatemalan artist will participate as well as several international figures.
